PreRanger
Donna has been a fan of super heroes since she was really young, from reading comics to watching the cartoons. Due to this, she went through life with a strong sense of justice from stopping bullies to calling people out on their behavior. She thought that bad people shouldn't get away with what they did and if there were no action taken she would take it upon herself to punish them herself, usually a mostly harmless but embarrassing prank.
When she was 7 years old her parents took her cousin Matthew in after his mother died in an airplane crash. While it was originally only going to be a couple weeks until he was taken in by a couple, but Donna and her parents took to him so much that they just decided to let him join the family. Because of how small and timid Matthew was when he came, Donna decided that she was going to make sure that nothing happened to him. Due to how withdrawn he was, Donna had to constantly pull him out of the house, even if he didn't want to.
One day, she was taking Matthew out, who was used to it by now. Not paying attention, he stepped onto the street when a car was coming. Donna pushed him away, but was hit herself. The car drove away without stopping and she spent some weeks in the hospital and did mostly recover. While her body healed, her mind did not heal as well. She became anxious around cars and was in a state of emotional turmoil.
The biggest problem were her legs. Her doctors had confirmed that she was fully healed, but she claimed that she couldn't walk and it hurt as bad as it did after the accident. The doctor couldn't find the cause and didn't really know what to do with this so she became wheelchair-bound for that time.
During this time, bitterness began to build up in her because that driver could have hurt Matthew and that can't be let go. Five months after the accident she started to go out on her own when people thought she was going to school to find who hit her, though she only remembered very sparse details. One night she comes upon a bunch of kids bullying a smaller kid and she tried to stop them but being in a wheelchair the bullies only turned on her and pushed her out of her wheelchair. The bullies ran away as well as the kid. As she struggled to get to her wheelchair she made a wish.
Her powers let her walk, which surprised her, but since it was technically only really broken to her her family, though surprised, didn't question it. They took it as her finally moving past her accident, but she took it as an opportunity. First she took out the driver, then punished the bullies. But she didn't stop there. She started going out at night and taking down people she has seen during the day that she considered bad. As a vigilante she was usually never seen. Around this time she met Christine though Christine was trying to stop her so they were enemies. As they were in the same school though, they never recognized each other and became good friends.
Ranger War
She was outside of town when the war started. Super worried, she snuck her way home to check on her family only to find that Matthew was still stuck at school. Against her parents’ wishes she went back out into the fray in hopes of finding him. On her way, though, she found a boy who was being targeted by berserk ranger. She protected him only to find that he was also beserk. Panicking, she engulfed him in an ice dome and a bit of her power spilled onto his transformation item and he seemed to be pulled back from his berserk state. Realizing what had happened, she quickly froze her own item, but was weakened due to the amount of energy needed to trap the two stars and she slipped into unconsciousness.
When she woke up the boy was gone. However, she had no memory of the boy.
When Christine was stabbed, Donna was there. Rather than feeling glad, she felt rage at what had happened and attempted to give chase to Star Liberator to take him down, but other rangers restrained her because that would be a death wish.
Afterwar
After the war, Donna notices that Christine is bandaged up similarily to how Cherry blossom was after being stabbed during the war and she put 2 and 2 together. Feeling betrayed, she avoids Christine, trying to sort out her feelings. While walking home, she sees Matthew and Christine against a candy nurse and transforms, revealing her identity. Matthew is damaged badly and Christine helps her get him home. While he slept, they had a heart to heart and decided to put everything behind them.
When Matthew becomes a ranger and lose control of his powers she is reluctant on hurting him until Christine tells her it’s the only way to save him.
Some time later, she meets Finn. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but it felt like she’s met him before…
Rift
She helped against Casper. After that, she became one of Matthew’s only supports for going through the difficult time.
Omega
Finn disappears. She took the longest to find him, but eventually had no choice but to give up.
Whispers
(WIP)
Catching Stars
She aids Matthew on a lead, which ends them both in the hospital.
Personality: While Donna is generally cheerful to those she knows she usually does not interact with other people unless she needs to, which make people think that she's not interested in them. She tends to base her opinion on first encounters and it is very difficult to change her mind about someone.
Karma: Aside from people that she is close to she feels nothing for the people she saves, only that shes doing the right thing. When she is talking about or fighting someone she knows is bad she would speak about them as an object or a target rather than a person and wouldn't even considered them to be people with feelings. After the first year as a ranger she felt a lot of guilt for not feeling anything for the people she hurt in her time as a vigilante. Despite this she will still feel nothing for them.
